On December 8th, 1980 John Lennon stepped out to the studio to record. He never returned. I created this painting of the ex-Beatle in his favorite hat and coat, donning an all too familiar smile. I chose to have him forever embedded into a torn photograph lying on a marble background. One single white rose laid over it says it all. John Lennon - A legend from that day on.
